I had the pleasure of throwing the JayZ & Mary J. Blige Tribute Party last year with DJ Neil Armstrong (on my old Tuesday nights at Reign) and I’m excited to party with him again, and of course re-unite with my favorite boys from Ransom. Hello Everyone,

It’s been a while, I know!! I hope you missed me as much as I missed you. Every day someone asks what happened to my blog and if it will ever be fixed??!!!! Here’s the scoop. It got hacked somehow at the end of July (Why? You’re guess is as good as mine), so for weeks I was locked out of the blog and then one day the entire blog got wiped out.  I lost over 3500 photos, google ads, the banner, the category links and all the tags, so there went 2 years of blogging and with thousands of hits a day, I figured it was time to check in with my  readers and explain what happened. We were able to recover most of the posts and we’re finally in the process of rebuilding the site, so please be patient while we put all the pieces together.

On the very bright side, I had an incredibly crazy and fabulously eventful summer filled with tons of adventure, fun travels and a multitude of shopping sprees. Most importantly, my favourite designer consignment boutique Fashionably Yours is flourishing and is filled to the brim daily with tons of designer goodies, and bargoons up the wazoo. The Chloé Suede lace-up boots kind of remind me of the Manolo Blahnik timberland boots made famous by J-lo back in the day, but a modern day version. I love anything reminiscent of men’s style, but with a sexy twist. I also love wedges so peep the wedge option below. Since Timberland boots seem to be  making a come back, as seen on Kanye and Lil Wayne, why not let us ladies get in on this trend. Summer insists on playing hard-to-get, it’s looking like I’m forced to focus on Fall. *sigh*

For the past 3 years, I’ve thrown the Tuesday night annual jump-off party in Toronto, for the ever so popular Caribana Festival. This year I’ve retired from throwing parties and am happy to announce that it’s my boy DJ Wikked and On Entertainment’s turn to launch Caribana, this time hosted by my party animal friend Azooka. Y’all remember “Party with Azooka Part I”, right? Well, brace yourself for part II and stock up on your vitamins and red bull. You’ll be needing all the help you can get if you plan on taking part in this years festivities.  As much as I hate to party, I love Caribana and some of my absolute favourite peeps are rolling into town this week, so I’m looking forward to kicking it with some of my out-of-town loved ones.

If you think you can stomach a champagne filled night, be sure to check out Atelier on Tuesday night!! Plan on buying bottles or you just might be celebrating on the sidewalk.

My friend and Celebrity Artist Paul Leli is creating magic again, Michael Jackson magic. He spent a couple weeks working on this Michael Jackson tribute painting in celebration of MJ’s life and music. Paul has some very amazing projects up his sleeve and I can’t wait till he shares them with the world. Paul and I realized the other day that we have some things in common. We don’t sleep!! lol.
